When staying at Coastline RV Resort, you will find that our surrounding communities have a little bit of something for everybody. Apalachicola, Carrabelle, and St. George Island all offer historical landmarks, unique shops and art galleries, and restaurants serving fresh local seafood.

St. George Island LighthouseIn Apalachicola, guests can learn about the origins of modern air conditioning at the John Gorrie Museum and discover Apalach’s close ties to the bay and surrounding waters at the Apalachicola Maritime Museum. Also available are tours of historic homes such as the Orman House and Raney House. Carrabelle offers a glimpse into a US national history with the Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, as well as the Crooked River Lighthouse. Beach at St. George IslandSt. George Island also features a lighthouse and a replica of the lighthouse keeper’s cottage. In each of these locations, visitors can easily find interesting locally-owned shops, art galleries featuring local artists, and restaurant options ranging from gourmet dining to down-home fried seafood. Outside of the towns, there is the Apalachicola National Forest, Tate’s Hell State Forest, the St. George Island State Park, and many other pristine coastal and inland reserves to hike and explore.
